Lucky Lager, an American beer brand with lots of Canadian connections and while often on sale, it's not really a "budget" beer as its brewed by Labatt in Canada.

Union Jack IPA by Firestone Walker, makers of 805. Very good.

My Dad and I used to drink this when I was younger. Also miss Henry Weinhard which originally was made at a local Oregon brewery.

alas all of the former smaller production breweries were Snapped up by the large ones, but now we have microbrews so they are not missed as much.

What does a 6er/12 run you where you are now? Back when I worked in a beer vendor during university summers Lucky was always one of the cheapest things we sold.

I have a can of Founders Centennial IPA tonight. Not one normally in my fridge, but wondered into a different grocery store than usual earlier this weekend.

Had dinner in The Villages tonight. The snapper special was excellent but the best beer on tap was Sam Adams. It will do in a pinch but I was a little disappointed. Also the only draft without a happy hour price. 😡

I still occasionally see Sam Adams listed as an import and not as a domestic or craft beer.

Redbridge - gluten free, made from sorghum. The plant manager brought me one. His wife can not tolerate gluten. Tastes sweet and a little like molasses. Wouldn’t drink another.

Speaking of Oktoberfest. I stopped by the local brewery, which still is unable to sell its own product, to get a growler fill. They have new video menu boards. I thought they looked pretty good. I filled with #23 and didn't much care for it. Not exactly my favorite style but I figured while it was in season ... I had a #10 while I was waiting and liked it much better.

I normally snip the images. I had left them in, but then did not refer to any of the beers by their numbers.
If it still has it the next time you visit, try the beer from Duck-Rabbit Brwg.
I did not know Church Street Brwg. distributed to Florida. I've bought its packaged beer, but have yet to visit the brewery. (It can't be reached without driving to it.) It appears somebody at the distributor there has a connection with the Stevens Point Brwy. in Wisconsin. It brews beers I would have, if they were on offer here in metropolitan Chicago.
For a few years when I ran the Craft Beer Tasting at the United Soccer Boosters' Convention, I had a solid contact at Pabst Brwg. in Milwaukee. I would request, and get, a variety of its brands. At the top were Ballantine India Pale Ale and Old Tankard Ale. For one year (1992), at the bottom, it was Lucky Lager (in 12-oz. cans). In the middle were brands like Pabst Genuine Draft and Pabst Genuine Draft Light, and Andeker. I would absolutely sleaze out on Lucky if it was cheap enough. ;)
Anyhow, as for what I had, it would be Exit Strategy Brwg.'s Valleaudated Milk Stout (16 oz - $6.00) :D

I had my growler filled with Rabid Duck imperial stout from the Duck Rabbit Brewery in NC. While waiting, had a pint of a New England style IPA from a CT brewery I’m not familiar with. The Rabid Duck is 10% ABV. I will not finish this in one sitting.

Sorry for the delayed reply but no 6-pack or cases as it's sold here as 8-packs or 15-can cases. I can get an 8-pack of Lucky Lager for CAD$12 including deposit and tax which is pretty much the same as the Old Milwaukee and Rainier 8-packs but of these three brands I like the Lucky Lager best.

And FWIW I'm having Lucky Lager tonight as well.

Watched the sunset from Harpoon Harry’s beach bar with a couple bottles of Sam Adams Boston Lager.

Fat Tire. I wanted beer for at home and that was about the best I could get at a convenience store.
