Thanks. I'll probably have Wednesday evening and much of Thursday to kill, so...

A delicious ten beer flight at 10 Barrel Brewing in Boise, ID last night. Amazingly, they have a separate ten beer flight I could have had and even MORE amazingly, this was just $10!

Boise seems to have a few places that have massive tap lists. I was there a few years ago and went to a place that had a horseshoe-shaped paddle flight of something like 12 beers, and they offered a 2nd once I finished.

After 10 days on a medication that I was warned would not go well with alcohol, I have brought a growler to work to be filled on the way home..

BamaVol Aug 9, 2019 10:09 am

I had the growler filled with a very nice hazy IPA from Ology Brewing in Tallahassee called Sensory Overload. I drank a glass of Fudgie the Beer stout (tap handle has Carvel Fudgie the Whale graphics) from Captain Lawrence Brewing out of Elmsford, NY. Very chocolaty, as promised. Then I tried every IPA on tap before selecting the growler fill. I was disappointed in Burnt Hickory's (Kennesaw GA) Big Shanty Graham Cracker Stout. All cinnamon and salt. Fun night at the brewery, still waiting for them to get clearance to sell their own product.

Something consider after I retire in 4 months. @:-)

The medication was Meclizine, BTW and it came with the strongest possible warning not to mix with alcohol consumption.

NATURAL ICE (an Anheuser-Busch product)

At 5.9% alcohol/volume, and a 30-pack cans costing ~U$17.00 it's the most BANG-for-your-buck! :D

Bluejacket DIPAs and TIPAs this evening. Stopping in after a beer share. They go great with the burger!

See, new part-time job.

I've taken that but not for more than a few days.

Mountain Cowboy Brewery

While they sell kegs to many Denver bars, they don't distribute outside their tasting room in middle-of-nowhere Colorado. Their blackberry hefeweizen is one of the best beers I've had in a long time. I also picked up a half-growler of their saison to try later.
