With lunch today with a couple of friends, we started with sharing a six-pack of Scorpion Bowl IPA from Stone Brewing. Probably one of the best IPAs I've had this year. ;)

Had dinner at an “Irish” pub in Tavares, Fl tonight. I ordered a Kilkenny cream ale. Never had it before. Never will again. I thought it tasted like soap.

I gave it back to the server with about 2” missing from the pint and ordered a Bluepoint toasted lager instead.

Bramble Bubbly Sea Cider. Finishing off the bottle actually. It went nicely with tonight's charcuterie board dinner.

Never Better DIPA from Coronado Brewing Co. Very good.

Downed two cans of Rouge Coast Haste Imperial Hazy IP yesterday. It's a Double IPA, so a little hoppier, but also a tad too fruity for us to meet again, I think

A really good find yesterday. Orderville IPA by Modern Times. Definitely moves in to my top 5.

Before switching over to an Oz red wine, we yesterday enjoyed a couple of Lagunitas Maximus each. Consistently happy with that brew.

Looking forward to February 14 when my current Whole30 ends and I can drink beer again.

-Founders Harvest Ale - a nice, full-bodied IPA that is a bit more on the bitter side
-Ommegang's last Game of Thrones beer - Our Watch Has Ended, an imperial brown ale brewed with maple syrup (quite strongly) and fenugreek (much less noticeable, if at all). I'd say it compares a tad unfavorably to Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout, but it is still way better than the show ended. It completes my collection of all of the GoT beers that were ever released, but my master plan of aging them for years and seeing them appreciate went up in smoke along with King's Landing and that godawful ending.

Spent the week in New Orleans. Gnarley Barley's Jucifer IPA was on the menu most places we went. Nice tasty juicy IPA.

Always enjoy a Pliny the Elder Double IPA when I can get a hold of one!

Grapefruit Sculpin. Not many choices on the Grand Princess to Hawaii.
