a pint of Creemore Lager
|
two pints of Creemore Lager, to celebrate the end of Daylight Savings.
|
Two doors down from 2nd Ave Deli was a bar with $5 beer+shot. I drank Goose Island IPA, Naragansett, and 2x Bud Light.

I've said this before, but I think I'm the only one here who isn't into IPAs.

Got a Michelob Ultra tallboy that I didn't drink on the train.

You mean "Little Sumpin"? Vile vile IPA IMHO. One of the very worst mainstream. Glad you enjoyed it though. :)

I'm choosing tonight between Fuller's London Price, Doombar and Old Speckled Hen... |

I don't mind the occasional IPA, but it seems that IPA/DIPA/TIPA is all the 'craft' beer movement ever does, both in the USA and here.
I'm choosing tonight between Fuller's London Price, Doombar and Old Speckled Hen... Over here, there has been an explosion of sours as well as flavored porters. Sure, breweries still make IPA’s because there’s a demand for them. Don’t limit yourself to what’s on the supermarket shelf. I think that’s deceiving. We frequent craft bars that usually have anywhere from 10-100+ taps. You could probably fill them all with IPA’s but what would be the point? Instead, there is a selection of Saisons, farmhouse ales, lagers, wheats, Belgian style, pilsners, brown ale, amber ale, Oktoberfest, etc. Also the New England style IPA is nothing like the west coast style. Citrusy instead of hoppy. Maybe needs a new name. |
Bell's Two Hearted Ale American IPA
Meh. -J. |
I have 4 pints of Sam Adams to work my way through this evening. Not bad for American mass produced beer.
