I like the Victory Sour Monkey quite a bit.

I'm quite excited that the place I go to for pint night on Monday today has tapped both the 2015 and 2016 vintages of Avery Rumpkin :D

After being sick all week I finally got to try one of the Victorys tonight. Good stuff! Definitely a sour, but not overly so like some sours I've had. They balanced it just right. I wasn't expecting the 9.5% though... felt like I was drinking on an empty stomach :D

If you go to one of the Victory brewpubs, they at least used to have a cap on the number of Golden Monkey's one can consume.

We were at the Brass Tap last night and I finished my 49th and 50th different brews thereby earning my name on the wall. I had a pale ale and a stout, both from Green Bench out of St Pete. We have cooled off a bit, 40’s at night, and I prefer the pale ale to IPA. And the stout was wonderful, tall thick head and a hint of coffee.

Only 50 beers? That's just weak... I had to do 80 to get my name on the wall at my favorite bar. I think I'm up to 4 or 5 times. :D

Got my favorite... four different types of Heretic beer. They dont have a distributor here so I lugged it to the airport and checked it when I was in California yesterday. :D

Picked up 'Now Youse Can't Leave' by Bronx Brewery. Very smooth double IPA and packs a punch at 10.1% ABV. It's delicious. I'm not a huge fan of all of their beers, but Bronx really knows how to do IPAs (I'm a big fan of their No Resolutions IPA as well).

Grabbed Winter is Here (the latest Game of Thrones beer released by Ommegang) and the 2017 vintage of Goose Island's coffee stout. I'll need to grab one more of the latter, as I like to enjoy one now and then age the other for 3-5 years.

Took the in-laws out for tapas last night so ordered a bottle of Spanish garnacha.

Today, it is some SNBC Celebration, with nitrated meats. Later, I will grill some steak, and probably transition to wine, celebrating some weight loss by putting on a few pounds.

I had grand ideas of drinking tonight. Now, that won't happen, as I've enjoyed a nice dose of Benadryl, and drinking the four beers remaining in the fridge would probably be a bad idea!

We took the older generation, Grandma BamaVol and the in-laws out for Thanksgiving brunch and they had Ballast Point Sculpin on tap.

For brunch today, Founder's breakfast stout: double chocolate oatmeal coffee stout. I don't usually like sweet brews but this one was very tasty,
