Tried the first of a sixpack Lagunitas Brown Shugga yesterday, really yummy.
Despite having 9.9% a.b.v. it doesn't taste that strong

Went out yesterday and hiked 7 miles. Stopped at a bar afterwards to reward myself. Drank a Wavemaker amber ale from Big Storm brewing out of Odessa, Fl and a Founders porter.
I love the craft beer revolution. I bet I've tried 100+ beers in the last 2-3 years and most of them were excellent.
Leaving for JAX this afternoon and plan to try as many local beers as I can find this week.

I have 7 cases of Zombie Dust in my living room. Wife is not terribly happy with me. The guys at FFF are jackasses of the first order, but they make the best pale ale in the world and they are just 10 miles from me. What can I do?

I love this time of year. All the dark beers are out and about. I've had some amazing barrel aged beers in the last few weeks. The standouts have been Block 15's Super Nebula, The Commons 3rd Anniversary Stout and Lagunitas Westified.
Anyone else on here use Untappd?

I have 2 cans of Sweetwater 420. I was entertaining guests from out of the country (Netherlands, Belgium, Finland and Sweden). The first beer was a Goose Island wheat - they were all polite about it but I could see it wasn't their cup of tea, although it was the best thing on tap at the restaurant we ate at. I brought the 420 over to their hotel and had to bring a second twelve pack the next night. However, since we were also drinking Lebanese wines - I had no idea how good they can be - they left me 2 cans (and a hangover).
