Thanks, come visit! Amsterdam is an amazing city.

A bonus for a "young lad" such as yourself N639DL, is that my daughter and at least 2-3 of her sorority sisters (Delta-Delta-Delta) always visit during college spring break.

Funny, a charge appeared on my amex for Delta-Delta-Delta; and it took my like 10 minutes to realize it wasn't for a Delta itinerary. I was so confused.

You mean to tell me that it is not the dream of every young British lad to live in Kansas City one day?!?

Official move the furniture out of Kansas City is September 3rd. It looks like I will officially be resident in Ohio, September 5th. I have one more RT to make this week -Wednesday - Friday but (shock -horror) I am not flying Delta. Had a company travel voucher to use so going MCI-DCA-DAY-CLT-MCI on US Airways.

Actually sounds like quite a nice idea when I have settled in my new home in Ohio.

I know sadly - if it had been two hours Friday afternoon that could have been good.

although "two hours Friday afternoon" of a holiday weekend at DCA can deteriorate pretty far from "good" pretty quickly ...

I ♥ karma... Our idiot neighbors, who still use a generator for their trailer repair work, cut down a tree today. The tree was near a power line, and when it fell, it pulled down the power line, rendering several of us without power. I called the electric company and reported the outage, and was told that there wouldn't be any sort of service charge.

The employees working tonight to repair the outage indicated that the neighbors would be charged for the repairs. In addition, since they currently don't have service, the workers saw no need to keep the wires running to the pole back there. They cut the wires and told them that when they are ready for electricity, they will need to call and pay for wires to be run, and a new pole to be installed, because apparently, they damaged the pole too.

I'm not so much a "young lad" anymore as I'm 20 years old. Unfortunately in this era of 18-25 year olds, my opinion is that I'll be 30 years old when I get treated for my age.

Off to get started on things needing to get done today... 5 days from now I'll be moving back into college.
