It's MQM/MQS *AND* MQD.
So you need the miles or segments and the money spent.

(Unless you meet the credit card qualifications)
Or unless, your permanent residence is outside the USA. I have an MQD waiver; not that it really matters.

Got many things to do before this month is over. Moving back to school on September 1st, which is Labor Day. Going to be some hectic 11 days.
Just spent a few days at Stowe, VT; and helped my daughter move in for Sophomore year at UVM.

Bought her a 2012 Honda CRV; so things will be easier this year.

SO got very very lucky using her Marriott United Silver Status (she's also Delta Diamond), on a last minute "Y" fare booked a few days in advance cleared the upgrade BOS-IAH on a checked in full United flight with a list over 20+ for upgrades. One no-show, and I guess the "Y" fare helped her as a Silver that day.

Reminds me, must make sure I have my Dutch Immigration cards handy for my return next week.

and, in other personal news, I was upgraded to HIGHEST TIER at my favorite casino.... That was a very welcome surprise!

Yeah that's what I intend to do pretty much. Just seeing where the wind will take me. I do have a few ideas of what I want to do if the opportunity is there.

Edit - nice baccarat_king

I'm sleepy, although I haven't had any beer tonight.

I have. A very large (2 pints?) double wide IPA from the Boulevard Brewing Company in Kansas City with a Jack chaser

My first few days in OH have gone better than I could have hoped. I've been to my favorite fast food joint which we didn't have on the Emerald Coast (Chipotle), visited my favorite grocery store from home that wasn't in FL (Kroger), found a decent drinking hole (The Pub), checked out the local farmers market, and attended my first MLS game which was a 3-0 win for the home team. Tomorrow I'm driving to Cincinnati to see the Braves play. I think I'll manage to survive my time here.

If work takes you back to VPS at times, there is now a Chipotle at Destin Commons, but the time we tried it, it wasn't a shining example of the best of the chain.

I lived in the Cincinnati area for 4 years. It's a rather nice place. Wouldn't want to spend my whole life there (contrary to many that I met); but I have nothing bad to say about the area. Used to say driveway to dice table in 35 minutes. LOL back in my Argosy Casino days. Unbelievable they dealt a green chip ($25) BIG BACCARAT game back then.

I always liked the (original) Montgomery Inn; lived a mile from there.

I have no problem buying you and Mr Kipper free beer - but I think the shipping costs outweigh the value of the beer.
