Couple interesting things today which played into my ego. Yeah, I'm a DYKWIA at the moment.
Flew ATL-MIA today and an announcement was made at 10k feet: "We'd like to extend a special welcome to our Skymiles members and our Diamond elite on board." That was me! Only my fourth flight as a DM.

Yesterday, I was sitting next to a FO, who got the UG... his BP read RU class. He was up in the overhead mid-flight and I asked him to stow my bag for me (I was window seat). I received the proper KM treatment from a FO for the first time!!
Now I get to celebrate for a couple days with my girl here in SoFla. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

PS. I'm flying out tonight. I sm going to RSW. I will earned more miles. I will became FO again and then Gold Medallion. I still wait for the ticket price. I am going to BSL in December, but I wait the ticket price will come down. I will keep eye on it.

OMG, just realized I'm flying tomorrow without status.
DL SGF-ATL-PHX on an AS award. So far, the only thing open is back of the bus, middle seat. I'll have a rollaboard that I won't check, but I'll be a kettle with boarding group 99 and fighting for space in the overhead bin.
This'll be the first time I've flown in coach as a non-elite since probably 2007. Wish me luck...

I survived IAD <--> DEN on (gasp!) UA in late June ... row 37 of a 757 going out was enough to convince me to pony up $54 for non-reclining E+ window on a 738 returning ...

You haven't accepted that seat yet, have you? In a full flight situation, the DL computer tends to throw the unassigned into whatever non-EC coach seats they've got left at airport check-in, whether preferred or not, and if you let the computer spin that roulette wheel, you'll often end up with something better than the middle back coach seat.

Well, Guys!
I'm Silver Medallion again. You can say congratulations to me. I have a few more trips for this year and then I will fly to Switzerland in December. I will became Gold Medallion.

You have the required MQMs to be Silver and may well get the required number to get Gold Medallion, but will you have spent the required MQDs?
