I selected row 14 which has limited recline. The other free options are at the end of the A220-100 plane (row 23 or higher).

Any idea how "bad" this limited recline really is? I often forget to recline my seat. This is for a 3 hour domestic flight.

Was on the A220-100 for the first time. Round trip from LGA to Dallas Forth Worth. Was sitting in row 26 one leg and row 22 on the way back.

Contrary to my expectations, the plane is quite noisy. Not any quieter as it seemed than A320 or B737. I was surprised how much noise and vibration I felt throughout the flight. Even when it reached cruising altitude.

Currently on DL 2718 in seat 2A (A220-100 N109DU delivered iMarch 2019) from DTW to IAH. First ride on an A220! Love the size of the entertainment screen and location of the power ports. Have to agree with prior comments about noise and vibration - especially during taxi.. Not terrible , just noticeable, Overall good experience and comfort; Looking forward to my next trip on an A220!

Flying LAX-PDX on the A221. Currently have seat 15A in economy. Just trying to figure out if this seat has extra legroom. I know the window at the exits are smaller, but is that all? I can pay a few bucks for 12A in EC if that will be a significant improvement. Any help appreciated!

Yeah these planes are noisier in the back. The hydraulic pumps controlling the landing gear make noise until the landing gear are retracted, and the engine spool up (whale) noise reverberates through the cabin behind the wing. Up front, the sounds can’t be heard at all! (Besides the engine whale noise, but it’s a lot quieter)

First A220-100 flight yesterday, MSY-LGA. We had 3C & 3D. The seat was very comfortable. We agreed that they were more comfortable than the F seats on any other narrow body in the fleet, including regionals. The legroom in Row 3 is great, Rows 1 and 2, not so. As has also been pointed out, the distance from row 3 to the first row of C+ is spacious and doesn't make you feel guilty of using full recline. The additional space between rows 2 & 3 seems to keep row 2 recline from being bothersome. The irregular seat spacing appears to be related to seat/window alignment.
We wonder why the seatbelts were the airbag style. Is that also true of rows 1 & 2?
The IFE screen is very nice but the audio was drowned out by aircraft noise using the DL supplied earphones. We didn't have any earmuff style headphones with me but they should make a BIG difference in blocking ambient noise. The power is very easy to access
As has been noted many times, the seatback storage sucks and the tablet storage is useless. The tray table was OK but it would be nice to have it extend slightly further from one's body and be supported at the non-hinge end.

Row 13-15 are not selectable, but all seats shown as available on A220-300. Is this normal? Is this an indication of a potential equipment swap (downgauge)? Spouse and I are currently in 12 D-E, but would prefer A-B in 13-15 so its just us.

Is row 3 legroom really better than row 2? I know it must be better than row 1 because the bulkhead on this aircraft is downright awful, but I was always under the impression that rows 2 and 3 had the same legroom. Switched my flight this weekend to row 3, lets find out!

First trip for me on the A-220 this weekend. DTW-IAH on Friday and then return on Monday. 1D both ways. The aircraft was fine. Felt more like an RJ than a mainline aircraft. F seats were rather narrow. Console in between seats for placing drinks was incredibly thin. Also, one has to be a contortionist to locate and plug into the power source under the center armrest/console. Not the best. The USB connection, however, was easily reachable at the screen. Overhead bin space was quite roomy. Overall, I found the aircraft to be OK but nothing to write home about. I would have rather been on a real mainline or E-175/CRJ-900 (in the single seat).
