I'm not saying this is what DL will do, but I do think FT is over-complicating the thought process.
Good point, not sure why I did not think about it that way. They can just make W more expensive and limit it.

Fixed that for you. There's nothing official here, it's just a guess. The evidence is circumstantial. I agree it's a pretty good guess. But that doesn't make it a fact. Facts do matter

Actually DL has clearly said the A350 is replacing the 747. We also know that DL has put 777 as placeholders on routes the A350 is to fill. No C+ is being sold on those flights since there is no C+ on A350. Not sure why what DL had been saying for awhile is not fact.

Seriously, I have to spell it out for you??

DL has not said which routes are first. Period.

777s with no C+ is a pretty good clue. I think it's likely the right answer. But it's circumstantial evidence. It's only a guess. A good guess, but a guess. Good clues and likely guesses don't make facts. No matter how many times you keep repeating them.

DL has 1)said these will be replacing routes flown by 747, 2)has not said in a news release which of those routes will get it first, 3)but has confirmed when asked that the 777 without C+ being sold is the place holder for when the A350 comes online. Thus you can look at the schedule and see which order those routes are planned to get them.

Thus we do in fact know which routes are getting them at first. We also know the current planned order of current 747 routes Long term other then the current 747 routes we don't know.

The only other thing we don't know is what routes will be used for proving runs.

So which routes exactly, now have the 777 as a placeholder?

I want to possibly go go ahead and book a refundable fare, just for the helm of it lol.

If the A350 starts any time in September, then the routes would be loaded into GDSs on July 8.

Most DTW-Asia flights departing after the middle of December. Some earlier, but the last 747 DTW-ICN flight departs around that time.

Has DL confirmed that there will be no C+ on the A350? I thought this was still an open question.

They had to order seats awhile back, and the planes are already being fitted. Thus it's too late for the A350 at this point.

I think there is some question on the 777. However last announcement that i'm aware of was that they wouldn't have C+.
