I'm sitting in 4A. 4B gets up to use the lav, and when she returns I figure as long as she's up, I might as well go too. FA stops me: "I'm really sorry, the captain needs to use the lav" and blocks off the aisle with the cart. I had to use the mid-cabin lav, with its inferior toiletries.
After I'd been waiting quite some time for *that* one to become available, another pax approached and asked "are you in line?" Uh, no, I enjoy standing around 2L just staring blankly at nothing in particular
then the F door opened up, but then the other pilot went too. And they each grabbed several snacks out of the basket before heading back into the cockpit.
How many pesos should I write in and demand?

Had you known that both Cap'n and FO had lunch at the taco cart, you would've been handing that FA a JWD instead of griping about the lack of elite paper towels in the mid-lav. Close call, and a save by the FA... JWD!

I'm far more annoyed with the seeming universal belief that one can always find economy saver inventory on United, which is simply not the case when you're a United outstation with Embraer 135 service. That first leg to Houston makes an award ticket price out to standard level about 90% of the time I search for departures out of Podunk Field.
