Figured a highly collaborative effort like this needs a wikipost. As items and codes are confirmed, let's centralize them in one place rather than thumb through hundreds of discussion posts.

You're misunderstanding me.
I wanted to view the stats again later to see if they would change.
I still have my stats from last night (25 Jan)

Excuse me? Obviously, SOMEBODY other than myself views and uses this information on a regular basis. Maybe not casual visitors to a discussion forum but people in your organization pass around and view my personal info as if it were candy.

I wonder what my elected representatives, governing bodies and/or news outlets will think about what your company got caught doing?

You're the ones attacking medallion members using FCM, MQD's, eliminating routes and window UG's, etc. You will reap what you sow....

This is a little over the top. You have no basis that DL 'pass around and view my personal info as if it were candy'. In fact based on there being little or no information about how this information is used publicly available, and no DL insiders on this board offering up any suggestions, lends itself towards the opposite conclusion (it is held quite closely).

And while you might be surprised to hear about this, it is done by many companies, it is legal, and your representatives won't do squat about it (besides many stump a little about how it's wrong)

And not only in their organization but to other ones as well.

I don't mind them using my info for marketing, but I'm pretty upset I came across as a Baby Boomer with conservative political views. :-( I hope it's just a zipcode thing.

Anyway, this was a ton of fun while it lasted! Thanks to the OP, and onto the next puzzle.

I suspect that the data is still available, just not by going to the URL. It would be a major change to all Delta's pages to access it some other way, and a fairly trivial change to block direct access.

I am assuming there is an opt out facility and I would like to use it. Could you let us know how we do that.

Can you offer assurances that it was ABSOLUTELY only available to the specific user. If it is only available to the specific user then why is it there?

I have huge privacy concerns.

There is a way to opt out; don't do business with DL. The other airlines do this, too, so you'll have to avoid them. Heck, even the big stores are tracking you when you use your credit or debit card, so you'll want to avoid that. Cancel all newspaper, magazine and Internet subscriptions, because they're doing this, too. Don't get a mortgage, use a credit card or purchase anything at a small store where they might know your name. Don't get mail, as companies purchase lists based on zip codes.

Might I ask, what exactly are you concerned about? It's not as though there is any information there that can be used to open or access accounts.

It seems everyone on this board wants DL to track every activity so they can get perks. How can we then bemoan DL for tracking us?

I agree. While I appreciate DLCorpGuy for the attempt to explain DL's position on this, I think assurances need to be come from a VP or higher level.

Well Put! --- It had you login first, and then click it. It didn't work unless you had a secure connection, I don't have a clue what the big deal the info on there.
