There are so many rumors floating around, you are going to need to be way more specific on what "changes" you're talking about.

It's being replaced by SNAPP at airports. Rez rarely uses it now which they use CMS. There is alot more testing and training to go through so Sept is not going to happen.

Does Deltamatic/Deltatragic just mean the interface or does it include the big iron backend system as well?

I suspect any update will just be the interface to the end user, so I wouldn't expect post booking oddities to clear up, nor the website to any better.

The whole points thing and redemption being based on the price of the flight instead of a fixed millage

As soon as there is a shred of credible evidence that it is coming, we are going to see mass award redemptions of customers using their miles for fear of them becoming devalued in a big way.

Devalued in a big way? Skymiles are already so incredibly inflated. Further decreasing the value would be like polishing a turd.
