Delta didn't pick me up....
Missed my first connection at SEA. New flight was going to be real tight. Coming down the stairs at the the remote parking area the Porsche pulls up. No love for me. The guy picked up was driven about 75 feet to the plane parked next to ours and then left. Everyone waiting on the bus got quite a chuckle out of that. Luckily with some running I made my connection. I'm out of shape!!! Was glad I skipped the Woodford on that leg....

Arrived to SEA from GEG, and got picked up. I saw the Porsche and thought a 360 was on board (I'm a non 360 Diamond). He mentioned my name and caught me by suprise. I was brought to the Skyclub in Terminal A from gate B4 which was less than a 2 minute ride. My connecting flight was 3 hours away, but I was pleasantly surprised and thankful!

Got my first Porsche pickup.
Was on BOS-JFK 5992 and connecting to JFK-TPA 2649. Landed at B and connecting flight was in C.
Had a sign waiting for me on the jet bridge. A first and pleasant surprise.

He said he just made DM, as in hasn't been previously. The car in the picture is between $80-115K depending on which model Panamera it is. From his post I would doubt his(he can correct me) YTD spend on DL, and a vast amount of other DM's is within that range. A lot of DM's also have their tickets paid for by their employers.
The Porsche pictured is a 4 door sedan and not small.
I would also doubt the exec's take them home, or that they even leave the airport.

(also the panamera is small in terms of height.)

Fun Fact: Most of the Porches are used for VIPs who take the add-on VIP Select service, but when they do it for medallion members its internally called a "Surprise and Delight."

Going to drop a not even humblebrag here, where I noticed the Porsche as I was taxiing into SEA wondering who the lucky DM/360/VIP was when I couldn't even tell you how confused I was to see my name. The ambassador told me that he noticed the flight was arriving at the very end of the A concourse so he thought I could use a quick ride over straight to the Sky Club. Needless to say my day was made and super thankful for the DL staff.
