Got my first pickup in the Porsche today..

Arrived SEA-ATL at 3:20 to see my name. Anand picked me up and drove me to meet the drive picking me up for my ride home. Awesome service. Thanks Delta!

Got it this evening when SEA-ATL was a half hour late. The ride was a sedan with a Porsche emblem but it was mighty comfortable.

I noted to myself that the last time an airline drove me across the tarmac at a major airport to make a tight connection was about 30 years ago at STL when Ozark was good enough to get me home on time one night in the early '80s.

Cayenne? Perhaps. Panamera? Not so much.

They could have just said they don't start that early

My itinerary: SAN-ATL, connecting to ATL-LGA with 35 minutes. I just made Diamond.

They could have avoided giving me the ride with a lot less hassle. Really.

Got my first porsche this morning on a groggy early morning connection through ATL to get to RDU. I had to SDC onto this connection due to my preference of wanting to leave early in the morning - originally was booked on a nonstop in the afternoon. I have a feeling the agent on the line had some play into this as it took her 20 minutes to finalize a simple SDC! This made a simple morning Wed trip to something quite surprising!

Things looked good for BFUG on 12/8 LGA - ATL, and then got totally hosed. Didn't feel so bad when I saw TWO Porsches waiting for the flight. Must have had quite a few diamonds up front! The tarmac was looking busy down there. Good on y'all. maybe next year I'll get my chance...

Nice Touch Delta

I know this has been mentioned before, but this morning on my flight ALB to ATL to ABQ upon arrival in ATL was greeted at the cabin door by Lawerence and escorted to my connecting gate in one of the three Porsche land units. Lawerence was a very pleasant person and a good example of the staff at Delta. The little things that Delta does are very much appreciated.

Agreed it's the nice touch you do for high value travelers that pay the bucks and not making millage runs at minimal fares that can make difference in your carrier choice.

Nice, I didn't realize they did that for connecting flights. Thought it was just if your final destination was ATL.

The only thing I've been greeted by in ATL is a connecting delay
