For those in the giving mood, just a reminder that you can get triple Flexpoints for any donations to charity by first going to flexperkspromos.usbank.com and registering your Flexperks number and then going to the linked site to look up just about any charity by name (there are thousands). I am kicking myself because I recently gave to my favorite charity and forgot all about the triple points option. I did put the donation on my Flexperks card but did not go through the linked site so I'm pretty sure I won't get the triple points. I was reminded when I went to see if I was registered for all promos. Too late for me. But for you, tis the season!

By the way, I pulled out the mailer that I received that mentions the triple miles for qaulifying charities, and the footnote for this promo reads as follows:

"Triple FlexPoints: FlexPerks Select Rewards Visa cardmembers will earn FlexPoints at a rate of 1.5 FlexPoints per every $1 in Net Purchases during the current month's billing cycle for any merchant location that classifies itself as a Charitable and Social Service Organization. U.S. Bank does not have the ability to control how a merchant chooses to classify their business and therefore reserves the right to determine which purchases qualify for additional FlexPoints."

Based on this, I'm counting on the double dip (AA and FlexPerks) for Unicef donations that I mentioned in a previous post.

I had a 3,500 point offer, in the mail, for making a minimum $1K balance transfer @ 0.99% for a year with a 4% fee.

I also have this offer, is it worth it? Can I repay it right away and still get the points?

Well, you're paying $40 for 3500 points (worth up to $70), so partially worth it. In my case, I received the offer 3 times on my personal card and once on my business card!

Well, the cheques do say 6-10 weeks from end of promo, and in my experience FlexPerks promo points post only a week or so earlier than the max time they indicate. You should expect them on your December statement.

FWIW I paid off immediately after deposit, $2 minimum interest and convenience fee posted.

Also, our targeted holiday spend offers are 1.5k with 1.5k spend, Mrs. msp2anywhere scored 6k with 6k spend.

So your offer end was probably late July, which means 10 weeks after that was mid-October, and the next statement date was early November. I hate to defend US Bank, but that makes sense :)

Ouch! Left 31 cents on the table

Just redeemed 50,000 flex-points for TLV-JFK with a fare of $999.69 total.

US Bank Website Problems?

Has anyone else experienced problems logging into US Bank Internet Banking?

I've had difficulty for 3+ weeks, getting error messages at all steps of the login process, and after I've logged in.

"Alert: cannot complete your request at this time."

"Alert: The page you have requested cannot be displayed."

I was patient at first, thinking they'd realize the problem and fix it. Clearly, that hasn't been the case. :td:

I had difficulty yesterday evening... nothing major, so I didn't re-check. Random electron stubborness.

$25 flight credits posting

How long does it usually take for the $25 allowance for each flight award to post to your account? I completed the flight almost a month a go and promptly called right after it posted, and then again in two weeks. Nothing seems to happen, I do not see the credit, or reversal, or anything else in my account indicating I am getting the $50 back that were spent on luggage charges and food during the award flight redeemed.

Did anybody else have this issue? How long should it take? any specific steps I should take?

Used mine on a trip in April; posted quickly IIRC.

Mine took a few days after I called. I think you have done all I did.
