Bank of America® Premium Rewards® Credit Card
When I applied for the Bank of America® Premium Rewards® Credit Card in mid 2017 the airline incidental offer read
In early December 2017, I upgraded my seats for $198 and I was expecting a reimbursement of $100, but I have been reimbursed only $10. Upon calling the bofa help desk, I was told that every airline incidental expense will receive $10 up to a total of $100 per year. This means I have to incur 10 expenses above $10 each to receive the full benefit. This sounds ridiculous, does not match the CC offer description and is not in line with other CC companys' products. Has this happened to any of you guys?
Get up to a $100 Airline Incidental Statement Credit annually for qualifying purchases such as seat upgrades, baggage fees, in-flight services, and airline lounge fees - automatically applied to your card statement

Eligible airline list (according to rep)
Finally got around to calling about a $25 checked bag fee and a $36 in-flight food charge on Sun Country from November 2nd. I happened to have just been reimbursed for a Global Entry application fee, and it took me several times to explain to the rep that this was a separate benefit. I mentioned that the checked bag fee, paid at check-in, was explicitly mentioned in the benefits. He talked to his supervisor. When he came back he informed me that only charges from specific domestic airlines are eligible for the airline reimbursement:
. . . But I outright screwed the pooch on the "calendar year" part Good luck to everyone squeezing the value out of this card!

- American
- United
- Virgin American
