11/23: UA ticket change fee with additional airfare increase. On 11/25, change fee, which was more than $100, was posted as separate transaction. On 11/26, the meter showed that I had used $100. The $100 credit was posted on 11/30.

I'm wondering about this as well. Has anyone tried it?

Not really answering your question, but I can verify that cheap JetBlue tickets ($45 and $65) both were reimbursed

If I buy a $100 AA gift card tomorrow, will I get the credit if it doesn't post until after 1/1? I haven't used my credit this year and don't want to lose it. And can it be an e-gift card?
