Current welcome offer is 50,000 30,000 Crystal points with $5,000 $3,000 spending in the first 90 days. First annual fee not waived. (as of telephone call with bank employee 8/7/2019)

Past bonuses were:

***** #1502 - signup bonus 1/16/18 BUT ANNUAL FEE NOT WAIVED ******

100,000 points after spending $5,000 in first three months. Offer expires 30 December 2015. EXPIRED

A 70,000 points offer was offered back in March 2017 and expired March 31st, 2017. EXPIRED

The requirements for the application process varies from bank to bank based on various online data points collected from FlyerTalk, Doctor of Credit, etc.

Some banks require that you go into a branch and apply personally. Other banks want you to have another account open for 90 days before you can get this card. Some banks (if you already have a relationship with them) let you apply via mail. Sometimes you have to be a resident of the state they operate in, while some were able to get the card without living in those states. It is very much YMMV. You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.

The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

Register your card for online access (cno.cnb.com). This changed on Sept 19 2019.
Register separately for the award page (www.cnbrewards.com).
Register for Visa Infinite info and access at https://myvisainfinite.com/cnb/en_us/home.html
Click "my info" to see details on points awarded.

Does anyone know:

1) How do Amex gift cards post with CNB? Cash advance or regular?
2) Does spending with Amex gift cards qualify for meeting the minimum spend?

What's the max number of authorized users you can add to the account and receive the airline benes? The website says up to 10 but that sounds way too good to be true..

10 would be awesome! But I believe you need a social for each one added.

Additional question: Does the travel fee spend count towards the minimum or no because it gets subtracted?

I was so excited to see my long awaited CNB package arrive in the mail today, only to see my AU's name on the envelope and only his card included in the package. Do they always send a separate package for each card? A little odd to not get the primary card, but I assume nothing to worry about?

Some reports in this thread indicate that it does count.

What date does it say that the transaction posted on? Mine posted on 01/04 - so, I'm sure it'll post sometime early next week. You?

CLEAR is pretty great *if* you can use it. i also fly out of SFO, and it saves tons of time even over the pre-check and/or first class security lines. value wise, it's around $240 max, since you can add a second person on a paid membership for $50. (although that may only apply to your spouse.) i don't know exactly how to value it personally, since i wouldn't pay all that much for it, but it's damn nice to have it thrown in. my biggest concern is that CLEAR goes out of business, because i'm always the only one using the lane!

So I just realized I had united miles expire last month. And there's that silly fee to reinstate miles. I wonder if this would count as one of those things that this card would credit back. I'd try with a small amount but their fees don't make much sense to do it -- $50 for 5kmiles or $300 for up to 49999 (i had 55k so not worth it to spend $400 to revive them all, just $300 for 49999). I know, i know, stupid me for not keeping track.

Has anybody had any travel fees placed in 2016 show up yet? I made some transactions on 1/1. The ones I did in 2015 were had fee reimbursements post 6-8 calendar days from day of transaction. Hopefully something is up by tomorrow or Monday at the latest.
