Some of us still earn Delta miles with this card or may want information about past or grandfathered terms and conditions.

Please do not spread panic about miles not posting until after the 10th of each month.
In most cases, miles post in the evening on the 5th of each month if it's a business day, or else the evening of the next business day. "Miles post for purchases made between (inclusive) 5th day of prior month to 4th day of current month."

    Ending earlier than 25th?

Miles have been posted very regularly for the past two years, usually between the 4th-8th. I receive those this month but then another bunch of st miles posted on 7-17. I'm hoping they didn't cut it off before the date advertised, the 25th.

Anyone else had st miles post ahead of time?

    Thanks from DB, FLA.

hmm, now i joined the club of early-milers... Just had miles posted on 22 (marked as 21). The amount does not match any combinations prior to that date, and its less then half of what I should have received this month.
The other half actually all posted to ST on 21...
it would really suck if they cut it off early.

These reports of early posting miles are scary - both my wife and my account didn't receive any miles yet.

I'm actually glad mine haven't posted b/c I'm starting to wonder if they are posting in waves, maybe depending on state?

I almost want to tabulate if people with early postings are in/out of state, but with only 1.5weeks left till official posting - not sure its worth it.
Any way, if you feel like it, please say if you are in/out of ST states if your miles posted early.

miles from about July 4th (last posting to Delta) to 22nd posted on 22nd (Oregon). A bit odd for sure. Hopefully just a transaction volume issue or ? I can see them being overwhelmed by transactions and balance draining en mass these final hours. May look like a run on the bank!

The online tax payments and utility charges have each taken a few days to post after immediately showing as "pending". They show current date during pending period, but seem to be posted on original (or nearest business) date of the transaction. I had trouble with a pending online transaction done in the late afternoon blocking my ability to do a debit transaction for the full daily limit the next day until I reduced the next day's transaction by that pending amount. The rep took a while to determine that that was the issue, trying to insist that the vendor not accepting the payment was the issue.

7/25 is an odd date for the cutoff. It's a Saturday, not the end of the month, and not the 4th or 5th when miles post. For this reason maybe the real date is 7/31. They could be telling us 7/25 to account for the lag in transaction dates. Just some wishful thinking probably...

With my final 3k state tax payment made today 4 hours ago, my account has a whopping $2.68 remaining (do have $3,000.00 in linked savings to avoid the monthly fee). Interesting side effect of the upcoming Saturday 7/25/15 deadline for at least me is that I am highly motivated to run the account to near 0 today.

Today is the final day for online transactions to post before that deadline I hope!?!

Does anyone think that transactions on 7/25 (even pending) that post prior to 8/4 will get points? Just curious. I may blow it out if I can re-fund ST account by tomorrow.
