If it's as  as the new Westin in Tampa, don't get your hopes up (surly staff, had to drag a junior suite upgrade out of them, with emphasis on the junior - a love-seat in a standard room a suite doth not make).
Oh well, it's been a while since I wrote a nastygram review of an SPG property. Nice of Tampa to give me the opportunity. :-: |

I have read some pretty poor reviews of the PH PHL. It's in a great old building but the consensus on FT and TripAdvisor is that it's pretty tired. For New Years' Eve we almost stayed there to burn a FFN but I didn't want to risk disappointing my wife.
If you do come here, let me know. Wait 10 minutes and we'll start discussing booze again. PH PHL - I do want to stay simply to continue my PH tour but I did inform the Box I found a $151 rate on the way to ACY. Diamond amenity bottle of wine and diamond breakfasts fixes a lot of things ;) Booze - Diamond amenity bottles of wine on award stays. Also, icurhere2 realizes he has a problem by extended his hotel hop by a day - he only brought one bottle of wine and the remnants of the Woodford fifth shared with xyzzy and the fabulous Mrs xyzzy. How's that? |

San Cristobal Tower in Chile did this for me. That's because Chile is the best country in Sudamerica. :-:

Used to know the concierge there, and the greatest upside to PH PHL is the location. Palm on the first floor, Morton's across the street. If you two got together the table talk would be spectacular...and I'm not being sarcastic.

I'm pretty sure Stephen Starr's new steakhouse (Butcher and Singer) is nearby as well. |

Funny that you mention 'G2' -- am in a SS tonight -- to collect 2k GP & a 2nd qualifying night towards a free one. ^ My son decided to stay over at a friend's at the last minute!;)
