Last time I had to call an offshore call center I was connected with a Myrtle who sounded like she was about 18. I've known only a couple of women with that name in my life and they were all about 75 and very grandmotherly types. I found it very hard to believe that was really the name of this very nice girl in India. |

I can report that I successfully got a bump on my IAD flight. Original agent issued the $300 bump and $6 in food. When I arrived at the new gate she had put me on the DCA flight. Went to service desk and had the agent switch me flights and up the voucher to $12. This MR may pay for itself in the end afterall!!

No joke. I've only dealt with one blown soda can like that, and it was nowhere near as bad as that one.

Sunshine has verified that I am 3P on the website but the, "backend" system has no idea that I am 3P. She is inquiring what to do about this now with what I presume is a supervisor. We'll see. :-:

GC just called.
The building inspector decided that he would make a detour and check out the excavation on his way home from his "meeting". He gave the GC the go-ahead to lay down the stone.... but, he wants to come back and inspect the stone before he signs off for the basement walls to be placed.... so it looks like the walls may be placed either on Friday, or more likely Monday because if it snows tomorrow evening (as per weather forecast) the wall company will not make it from PA in time for Friday |
Now discussing the very detailed step-by-step directions I typed for them last April, which we've discussed a million times since. Nothing has changed.
This is my payback for saying I was bored this morning. |
