A beautiful day for flying this morning and gorgeous weather here in NYC. Court starts in 6 minutes and I'm number 9 on the docket this morning. I wonder how long that will take to be heard. What's the line on me for winning this fiasco?

The AA ERJ-140s have HUGE windows. Completely oversized relative to the plane itself. I was quite impressed with that. And I used my AmEx Platinum card to visit 3 Admirals Clubs this morning to snap some photos. :D

It looks like I most likely would select the Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa over the W Retreat & Spa – Maldives. The Sheraton is too close to Male and the airport so it is not the full Maldives experience IMO. If you are going that far, the Sea plane cost is worth it. The only reason I have never done the W is because my 4 trips there have been to go surfing and my hotel was a 110 foot boat. Also the W was not even open the first 2 times I went. It will still be an amazing trip but just consider a hotel in a more remote location, the atolls south of MLE are way better than the north Male Atoll. I know the W charges an insane amount of points so maybe you want to think about a CC deal, MBM3 stayed at the Conrad and he speaks highly of it.

Also as far as season, May-Nov is the surf season, AKA southwest monsoon season so it is considered the lower season for hotel prices. We had some quick rain showers during the day and some night storms but the sun was out every day. Last year was a little crazy in August and the rain and wind lasted over a day before clearing up for the week.
