My HP BNA stay for Sunday night credited incorrectly - they couldn't figure out how to run the Hyatt gift check at check-out and didn't give me the base points for that $50. About to call GP Support.

This weekend we are heading back to Costco for more certificates.

My rates for the next several stays aren't as good. One of them, though, I get $30 food credit plus parking, which makes it pretty competitive.

I have $900 remaining. And I would love to be in the WAS or ATL areas extensively during FFN.

GF laughed at me when I bought $400 worth. She saw the value of the certs last weekend.

I got exceptionally lucky down in OC last weekend. The HR Orange County has some good rates, but looking forward, everything is going towards $100+ around LA.

Not knowing how long they would stay around (Costco said something about "holidays" in the announcement), I figured I would step up to the plate.

It might get worse. PA has a bill that passed today about allowing table games.

The casino operators who won the permits to build in PA built with square footage in mind for tables, knowing that their lobbyists would ram it down PA's throat.

It's an entirely separate (and vomitous) point that PA is getting 44% of the table game win. Welcome to Karl Marx's gaming hall.

I once made a water bottle bomb while in Saudi Arabia. Heating element from an MRE, hot water, Dasani bottle. Throw outside into 135-degree noontime heat, wait about 20 minutes...and magically there's a small crater in the ground.

If you did see something you were interested in, rescheduling isn't that big a deal. My daughter seems to have recovered from her spell of the barfies and should be at school tomorrow, so it looks like I'll be able to get out of the house (as long as the other one doesn't get sick).

Much appreciated. :-:

I think OH has passed a gaming law, too.

Nearly every state without a significant religious lobby has realized that gaming taxation is the road to print your own money.

Turned on the gas fireplace again.

Or Texas, where state legislators pay lip service to the religious lobby, instead opposing gaming because they've been bought wholesale by bribes from Louisiana's gaming lobby (which is terrified at the thought of Texas allowing casinos).

Our Indian reservations are the only ones in the U.S. that can't set up casinos. The reservations were created when Texas was a republic, so are not under Federal control (and/or truly sovereign entities). :-:

In general Carrier Fairs are a waste of time.

Members of the Box, we must collectively pray that the Wing of Satan (delta air lines) does not end up with JAL.

Disregard. This is wrong. I was working off of the equivalent of urban legend...

Good Evening, Box.

So I just got an Evite from my sister for my niece's fourth birthday party. First of all, it's at some place called Pinky Toes Party Palace. in Robbinsville NJ. Secondly, the party is on Saturday Jan. 30, which means I'll have to reschedule so I can get home from Texas on Friday night.

Does anyone know what four year old girls are into these days? I'd ask my sister, but don't really feel like getting the "If you were around more often, you's know what she likes" sermon :mad:

Why? NH is better anyhow, right?

I'm not a big DL fan personally, but I am hesitant to go the Wing of Satan route, even with their laughable self-aggrandizing. So if JAL leaves OneWorld and joins SkyTeam, what does it really matter to CO and the rest of the Star Alliance?

I got Tropicana as a result of a career fair, and I'm sure if I wanted to be a management trainee or a Border Patrol cop, I'd have had much more success.

I had that problem a couple of weeks ago concerning the Texas flag and the ability for it to be flown higher than the US flag. This is a myth.
