I bought PFE for my youngest daughter. Can't remember what price, but I know it just dropped and dropped after I bought, and I haven't even bothered to look at what her investment is worth for years :( |

If I had to disclose now but weren't running for public office, the only thing that would show up per Tennessee law is Berkshire Hathaway. If I ran for public office I would have to declare every investment held, including retirement accounts.

One of the hardest things to do is seek investment opportunities when the market is tanking / tanked - the only reason my net worth has passed the pre-crash amount is staying the course.
I'm fairly conservative in what I invest in - I have JNJ and QQQQ as the main investments. They are both showing on the plus side, which is good. I hate the fact that the 529 plans we have for our daughters are both still in minus territory compared with what we have actually invested in phsyical $$. Plus, given that we live in a very high cost area of the country, and our cost of living expenses are high, we don't have a lot of disposable income to invest. But, we always max out Mr.Brits 401K, and my SEP plans, and do our best! |

For the leisure Plat, it's a stellar program. Batting 1.000 from my recent trip. very nice suite upgrades received at: W Istanbul Hotel Kämp Sheraton Stockholm W Chicago City Center I also like the ability to book suites outright with points. At some hotels, even specialty suites are sometimes priced at a small premium over standard rooms (instead of double the points, more like a ~2,500 point/night premium). Worked out to my advantage at the Arabella Western Cape Hotel & Spa. Massive Suite for only 2,500 more points per night than a standard room. ^^^ |
