That's the way to do it - when you see the value, not when everyone thinks there's value. Otherwise I would have missed out on AXP, BZ, C, CSUN, CX, JPM, PGH, SSW ...

"brand equity" was my favorite biz school buzzword...

Bought HPQ at 12 in 2002.

I thought about buying it when it was around 2.00, but I was too scared that it was going to go under.... wish I'd bought it instead of Citi :(

My low buy on C was $2.27.

I didn't attend, but I heard that the Shamwow was the most popular secret santa gift at our office holiday party.

We have to get trades approved. A couple of us decided to try and waste $100 when it was at 1 but were denied.

We have many. With pets and drunks around, they are very handy.

I had to write a valuation on HP back in 99 in an MBA course (degree was Finance but I had to take a few courses in the B-school) before the Agilent spin-off; looks like you bought at a very good time.

the product itself is actually OK. We bought some at Costco.

the guy that advertises it is just plain creepy.

I don't have to get trades approved but I did have to do a disclosure in my old position. MO was at the top of my disclosure but we were allowed to simply list sector - there was a dollar range and then "Consumer Goods - Discretionary".

In financial services world, name of company is more significant than sectors or ranges... :(

I meant you bought at a good time in a good way - the company was trading in the high 70's when I reported in 1999.
