Conversation today at a bar watching college football:

S/O: We need to pick a color tomorrow for the downstairs.
Me: It should match an Elite Access rug in the entry way.
S/O: Oh, it will.
Me: Really?
S/O: Yes. At your funeral, I will have two lines to view your ashes. One for "your" people. And one for everyone else.

I guess I should stop asking about putting this in the entryway... :)

Still in Germany and still drunk. All this partying is hard work.

:D :D :D

Should that expire the image is here, too: http://twitpic.com/ooom5.

Oh, and I had 4 + about 5 shots of Jager (no, I don't know why) and then some more to drink later. It has been a VERY long day. ;)

I've been drunk and without sleep pretty much for 7 days now. I'm really happy that I don't have to set an alarm for tomorrow.

It's official. I need to spend significantly more time with sbm12.

Good evening Box.

xFF - vet doesn't actually know what is wrong with her - they are only guessing (their words). They think it was an infection but they weren't sure of what (kidney or ?). One would think there are tests for that sorta stuff.

Vet told me they wanted to try the antibiotic approach before they tried all the other "expensive tests". With a bill of around $800, one wonders what those test are.. :p

She's perked up quite a bit today so hopefully no more expense - I will say every time I even think about the vet it costs me $200 or more. :D

Anyhow - she's a dachshund and about 10 years old - a senior in dog life. In actuality we have four doxies - but one doesn't live here full time (long story :)).

Well I am back in the states. The DO was great, so many stories to tell. Right now I am in the E PC waiting on my SEA flight.

I am going to start writing my trip report.

Yep, using the old generic 7X rule of thumb, she getting up there. But, as you know, while dogs are pretty healthy critters, once in a while, like us, they just don't feel quite right, regardless of age. But, they're so healthy so much of the time we really notice it when they're not feeling well.

Good she's getting back to normal.

I suppose it wouldn't be a good idea to also tell her you want two wakes, too. A fly-in one at the CLE P-Club for your people, and another for everyone else...

On my last flight of the day. So ready to be home. At least I made my connection at Dulles. It was looking close for a bit due to a mechanical issue with the ORD-IAD flight.

Second E70 flight this week where the FAs are badmouthing Mesa's CR7s.

It was indeed; I'm just glad they opened a new location up here so we don't even need to drive down to the Arboretum now. :D
