I have no idea how she'll react. This is the same PM who has done things like schedule me at two different clients that were 1,500 miles apart on the same day, and then not understand why that's a problem when I e-mailed her about it.

Another client asked me if she was drugs last year, or just dumb.

Yet she has survived multiple layoffs, while some really good people were let go.

Doesn't do it for me. It gives a bad aftertaste for quite a while.

Our changes are mostly because of marriages or having babies."

Divorce rate for Christians is the same if not slightly higher than the rest of the population

Because fewer people are learning less every day.

Is this correct?

I called co last night to upgrade my ticket using non-elite miles and they wanted to charge me a $150 fee. They claim the fee is based upon the status of the account on which the miles are drawn on.

Did you call back and get another answer? We were told this once as well and just used miles from one of our elite accts. because we were in a hurry so some agents think this is correct. I don't recall if this was the exact amount but there was a fee or there was something involved.

I just did so at my local Kroger - $30 in meat and $14.49 in Coors Light (I know) for a $15 rebate. I had coupons on the meat, so my $30 got:

A shrimp ring (50% off and $4 coupon),
Three 12 ounce steaks (on sale),
Pepperoni (on sale and with coupon),
Three pounds of mussels (on sale),
Two turkey roasts (buy one get one free),
Two packages of mettwurst (on sale),
A nice sirloin (on sale and with coupon),
And a pound of sausage (on sale and with coupon)

Freezer is full - I even had to put a pound of mussels straight onto the range. ;)

:-:Well done!:-:

Believe my first flight was on them, out of smith-reynolds airport in Winston-Salem NC, back in the mid 60s

Yep. I flew them a couple of times as a teenager in the mid-1980s. Those were great flights.

She must have some very good talents not evident to all.

This crowd isn't just Christian. It's not even CHRISTIAN. It's OMG We love Jesus sooooooo much and every letter printed in the Bible is the literal truth and not to be questioned at all CHRISTIAN.

I actually do like going there — they're generally very easy to work with and California is a nice break from my usual Texas/Louisiana work haunts. But it is like walking into an alternate reality sometimes. It's certainly different from the church crowd I grew up around, or am used to seeing on Sundays and religious holidays.

So what's the differential in purchase cost of the two aircraft?

According to this, an E170 retails at $32 million.

And according to this, a CR7 bends the wallet at just north of $34.3 million.

Ordering in quantity surely lowers both of those numbers a fair amount.

ConciergeMike Sep 25, 2009 8:45 pm

Following Bombardier's logic, the $2.3 million in higher acquisition cost is made up by $500K in savings per month. If you're trimming $6 million per year in operating costs, it's not so bad to give up the $2.3 differential up front.
