I have been mulling over which language I should attempt to learn, and as unsexy of a choice as it is, I'm probably going to go with Spanish. I can tackle Arabic and Farsi after that.

I get all the Chinese I would ever care to learn thanks to Tuesday Morning Quarterback, and his chronicling of the Chicago Ming Ding Xiong.

Hmmm. E175 operates the preferred outbound option on DL. New dot, new line, new jet.

The big Embraers are pretty darn comfortable in Y. It's a wider seat and a lot more comfortable than what you'll get in a non-exit row Y seat on most NW, DL, and CO equipment.

Have you been to the Twin Cities before? PM me if you're in need of recommendations on restaurants, places to go, hotels to stay in. I spent a lot of time there in 2006-2008.

The Mall of America was kind of  IMO

It's highly overrated. It's not that it's anything bad; it's a huge mall with a ton of stores, including some really nice ones. In that part of the country, it's the best thing in shopping until you get as far west as Seattle, or east to Chicago, and south down to maybe Kansas City. There's nothing even remotely close to it for many hundreds of miles in any direction, which is part of why I think it's such a huge deal to the upper Midwest. However, if you're from other large metro area, it's not a huge deal. I did enjoy shopping there on occasion when working in the Twin Cities a few years ago, in part thanks to no sales tax on clothing, and the easy connections to/from the mall and Downtown Minneapolis via the light rail system. But don't expect to be blown away if you're used to shopping at the really nice, big malls in other parts of the country because it's not all that different, other than being much larger than most of them in square footage, and having an amusement park in the middle of it.

UCB rock. How many a$$ pennies have you put into circulation?

I used to go to the UCB Theater in NY with some friends a few Sundays a month to see, Poehler, Besser, Roberts, and Walsh just as they were starting to get semi-famous. I got to tell Amy that I loved the way she screamed "BALL HAIR" in "Deuce Bigalow".....she seemed very appreciative.

G'night Box.

Back in the KE lounge at ICN. Took another shower and need another beer. The lounge is still decidedly  I'm actually rather surprised. This is their flagship lounge at their hub airport. I was expecting better. Booze options are awful. Food is only a (very, very) small touch better than that. Showers are at least decent, bu trather small rooms to work with.

I don't mind that the food is catered by Hyatt (and that they have signs all over it advertising that fact). I mind that Hyatt is apparently providing them crap to serve.
