Well, I made it and I am now a married man! The weather was great, the ceremony was perfect and the reception was a blast!! Thank you for all the well wishes.

We are sitting in the DL 77L seats now - ready to go! I have a feeling these seats will actually make the 14:25 flight quite pleasant!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

I opened up an account with Woodforest (A local bank here in TX... at least as far as I know). They are in Sams Club, WalMart & lots of grocery stores. The ones inside of larger stores are open 'til 7PM on weekdays & Saturdays and 11-4 on Sundays. I took in 1k to the grocery store branch today & had to explain where I got them. The manager was like, "Well, I don't agree with it or appreciate it, but I guess I have to take them." The good thing about having this bank is that there are ~20 branches within my usual drives, so I can share the wealth.

What a  manager. I had a thought on the coins today after giving BL JR some for her offering at church. I thought of the expressions on the faces of people at the Church office if I had coins delivered directly to them for my anon. offering :D

And you bought three cases of wine all at once??? Must have been quite some sale. I prefer to noodle around in wine shops and buy small quantities. Just my way of going.

I'll do it; usually from wine club (pricing is wholesale +10%). If there is a wine I really like, I'll buy a case, leave some at the club (no corkage fee) and bring the rest home. Four cases came home after the last wine club; usually I won't buy that much at a time unless either 1) my parents are coming or 2) it's the holidays.

Big fire right outside my house today. It could be seen from almost anywhere in Houston.

At least it only created a "temporary thick, black cloud of smoke" rather than a permanent one.

Thanks for re-posting in the box! We're going for my birthday... a few weeks after we get back from NRT on those B fares that were posted a few months ago. So now the question becomes: Should we wait to book the airfare for VCE until after 10/24, when I can use *? I'm gonna use miles to go, and figure if I book it now on the cheapest fares, it's either AF or DL, but that would prevent us from using lounges next year.

Our plans for next weekend have been cancelled, so now I could go... but tickets are a whopping $956... so we'll have to pass :(

What branch did you go to? Our family friends are the ones who started Woodforest ~25+ years ago. I also worked there in Highschool and on school breaks in college. My best friend is a manager at the Kroger location on Rayford near imperial oaks. Take as many as you can to him (Seth) and tell him Gabe sent you.:D

CO 1E, I am up for anything, have done the mall thing multiple times, but am always up for another visit to our national monuments.

See everybody this weekend.

Have you started planning your trip? As mentioned a few days ago I am looking at going next summer (Athens and Mykonos/Crete). Also, reward flights are showing up on CO now for next June.
