I find the jersey shore to be nicest in the off season. I tend to avoid it like the plague during the summer.
I will never understand going to the beaches of NJ for the 48 hours of the weekend and sitting in 3-5 hours of traffic to do so each way. Add in sleeping and you're achieving about 20 hours of "getting away". The beaches aren't that great, and these boobs go sit in what I lovingly call "The Parade of Tail Lights" every weekend. If all that traffic both ways just to go to a sub-par beach is what your life has become, I'm really very sorry to hear that. My dislike of this ritual could have something to do with all the invading PA-licensed drivers, who I think have received a memo from an alien life form of some kind, because they all do 55 in the left lane of the AC Expressway.

My tops for sitting on a beach doing nothing is about 2-3 days. After that I start going a bit stir crazy.

To Europe they give you this pair of blue socks, the man in the middle(764) seat same row as me, puts the socks on OVER his shoes. I see him do this and think, wow those are some big socks. I tried to put them on...and they would not even go over my ankle, they were TIGHT like some DVT socks or something, I'd probably kill my feet trying to put them on further. I gave them to my sisters when I returned.

Track/warmup pants all give off that noise. The question is just how loud it will be.

Your daily dose of ...
http://andyazula.blogspot.com/2009/0...-to-delta.html DL clearly dropped the ball on this one, but the guy's letter is (IMO) full of ridiculous emotion and drama. |

Not necessarily... The thicker polyester warmups with more of a matte (for lack for a better word) finish do not make noise.

Last year when I was traveling with a friend he started laughing when he heard me at the other end of the NRT RCC swishing away. I have yet to live that day down. |

Hmmm, I might need to do an investigatory trip to some of the neighborhoods here in CLE where this is the preferred attire.

I will admit that I have a pair of those that I use on ultra long hauls.

This reminds me that I need to decide what I am wearing later this summer on my trip to SIN. I am guessing that this might draw some interesting looks on the upper desk of the NW 744.....so maybe something more casual. |
