I wanted to make my comment sarcastic in nature. I know he wasn't a target. If he was, it would make me feel differently. Though, the perp took a chance, since I'll bet a lot more people in Houston are carrying compared to a lot of other cities.

Just got my seat assignment for my KE flights to MNL around Labor day. Upper deck on the 744 is now mine. :D I really hope they don't close it off and move me downstairs.

I've never had to wait 8 minutes as a 1K. In fact the most I've ever waited was a couple of minutes. The OP of that thread must be a 1K-lite @:-). :-:

For the photographers in the box...

Any opinion on a zoom lens...

Sigma 18-250mm DC OS HSM lens

vs.

Tamron AF 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC LD

Preferences with Tamron or Sigma? None of the above? I'm sort of leaning towards the Tamron, but reports of slow autofocus make me a bit wary.
