Not too much, but it did prevent me from being able to get to something I needed for work.

It seems to be working now.

I blame the flutter of Michael Jackson news for breaking the Internet.

UA is determined to keep me in economy this week. Doesn't look like any of tomorrow's upgrades are going to clear.

At least I managed to get out of the middle E+ seat I was in for tomorrow's LAX-IAD flight and into an aisle seat on the 2 seat side of the aisle.

And I am determined to get myself into E+ for my HNL trip gratis of course.

So part of surf-n-turf fajitas here is grilling up a lobster. The process is pretty simple. A large, sharp knife is used to split it lengthwise and then it is grilled over medium heat for ~10 minutes. Particularly strange is the fact that I split the lobster at least 60 seconds ago and the little legs are still twitching. That's kindof strange, right?

Not really. I've used a cleaver to chop right down the middle and same thing happens.

E+ is the one reason I'm trying to renew my UA status again this year. Fortunately I'm able to do it in a relatively small number of trips, thanks to our trip to LHR earlier this year on UA, and a few ATL-LAX work trips I'll probably fly on UA.

You mean you don't find twitching insects to be appetizing?

icurhere2 Jun 25, 2009 5:27 pm

Lobsters are crustaceans.

I have a hard time looking at the lobster tank at the grocery store. The only thing I want to pick up for dinner are items already on a nice styrofoam plate covered with shiny plastic wrap. And they don't move.

You've got to be careful of things that blow, like that new sandwich from BK.

+1 . My food must be unidentifiable and have no eyes. Lobster tails and claws I'm ok with but the rest I don't want and you'll never find me spending hours picking every last bit of meat out of one.

Guess we can't have you attend a DO at a Chinese restaurant :p.
