So is it normal to get a reject form letter less than 24 hours after a phone conversation where it is established that you're "still in the running"? :(

Please do let me know should you think that you have time. If I'm available, I will happily come up and play someplace convenient to you, and I don't doubt that a couple of usual-suspect Boxers would at a minimum check their calendars for you. :D ^

Some folks just have a problem doing that face to face. Never could understand it. Mike, you sound like a guy with a lot going for you. You'll find something that fits. Good luck on you hunt. |

In the non-schengen area you can just walk to the lounge, no problem, without having to clear customs. You could always purchase a refundable AMS-LHR one-way ticket if you wanted a ticket to the lounge.

The change to Vista was because we were running out of space. I haven't noticed any difference except that it takes longer to sign in. I'm clueless with IT stuff so what's the difference between Windows and Vista, that I would notice.

Clearly you haven't worked with multiple computers or with it very long. it is far superior to XP Pro. I deal with many computers on a daily basis, Vista gives no problems at all.

ALCO definitely seems like a ton of fun, but my very first interaction with sbm12 has been seared into my brain... at the IAH E PC... with drinks not only in his hands, but also in his hawaiian shirt pocket... red wine even.

Sorry to hear about the ding. :td: For reasons I cannot explain (well, a good quantity of Belgian beer followed by some pretty good Italian wine is a start) I decided to figure out what the "pompitous of love" is tonight. Sadly, it seems that the answer is that there is no answer and that the Steve Miller Band likes to confuse people (answer #5). I think that's a pretty good indication that it is bed time. Apparently there is now a limit of 10 images per post, including the smily faces. That was unexpected. I wonder how the snow plow posts will survive. |
