Passengers missing flight - baggage offloaded
 

CO 111 was delayed on Mar 30 since they had to offload luggage
for two passengers who checked in but didn't show up on the plane.
This was at LHR (since that's where CO111 originates).
I just wonder what happens that makes someone miss a plane
after getting to the airport.
Security takes about three minutes at Terminal 4. There isn't much
of interest int he terminal waiting area.
Maybe they were having a rollicking good time in a lounge?

I shocked my client today. The last couple of times I've been here, we've been debating their schedule and a possible delay in the go-live of their new HR/payroll system. What they didn't know was that I had already recommended the delay, and that it was just awaiting a final blessing. Well, the delay is official, and today they saw the new schedule, and the new task list. Their heads are spinning after our little Come to Jesus meeting regarding their tasks and what changes have to happen in how they are working on this project in order to meet the new deadline. Fun stuff. Then this afternoon I drug them through 2.5 hours of discussion of reporting.

They left not in the best of moods. We'll see how many return tomorrow. I think I may need to hit up the store for some candy or something as a bribe for tomorrow's training sessions. And as for me, I'm off to the lounge at the Marriott for some wine.
