I'm happy to be ensconced in my home city / office / residence tomorrow. Need some rest.

You should be confused...it was quite a rant ;)

No, it was a paid ticket.

But since UA allows one-way awards and I'd rather go home than hang out in OKC with no real purpose through mid-week, I was prepared to pony up miles for a one-way award and just dump the remaining segments on my ticket if I couldn't get the flight changed without a re-fare that would have been  $$.

cOOL! Going to WAS as in IAD, DCA, BWI? I am at DCA in the afternoon.

Operational but not described anywhere.

After I left LH at 1600, there was 2+ hours of  in low-A, as LH is ~B48 and RCCs are all in C/D.

UAEx colors - there was also an EJT (very ugly) livery boarding at the same gate ...

THe morning IAD or ORD flight has been a EJT colored plane.

We definitely weren't that couple either. Thank you cards were sent within a week of the return from the honeymoon. I just never got a chance to read through what everyone wrote in cards until this evening.

Ahh, got it. We have 300-some-odd days to figure it out, but I think part of the plan includes doing the banking and the errands (returning tuxes, dropping off her dress, yadda yadda yadda) before we leave and at least having the thank you cards purchased and ready to write in time for coming home.

I spent the night sweating my unmentionables off in Delduhware. Would have loved to be with y'all today, but it was sadly not at all possible.

As do I. Tomorrow and Tuesday are going to be rough...the consecutive days beyond #5 are never fun. But there are 37 percentage points of debt remaining on this current payoff, and almost eight of them have been acquired in the last five nights. If I can finish the seven-day stretch at ten points, I'll be satisfied. Depends how busy we are the next two nights.

I'm going to consult with Super Mario before going to sleep.

Used the Airtrain kiosk to check in and get boarding passes. They asked if I wanted to volunteer! YES!! Came to hotel to check loads and the Q400 is under by 5 from what ColPuck and I can tell. Surprised they would ask for volunteers with that many seats open.

This might be a good day for the BOX ColPucks flight is zeroed out too!!

I'm home. ^

I had a great weekend everyone. ^

My EWR experience today. As I was going thru the TSA check point I ran into a former co-work from HNL, now a supervisor in EWR. He had some time to sit down and have coffee with me.

My 4:30 flight was overbooked, weight restricted, delayed and then moved to another gate. Neither gate agent was interested in talking to me. Decided to left that flight behind me and get myself listed and checked onto the next flight. Since I couldn't find any other gate agents to help me other than to direct me to the Service Center (which was busy due to the weather) I ended up calling SFO for help.

Got a window seat on the 6pm flight, left on time and arrived almost 30 minutes early.

Good morning b:Dx. Hoping for a quiet day at work with over half the staff away at a meeting most of the week.

Morning Box! Greetings from CLE, where I am #14 (!!?!?!?!) on the U/G list this morning to get to EWR.

The only thing I'm looking forward to this week is that we are hosting a 2-day workshop in the same hotel where I'm staying, so that will make the days go a little faster.

There is still going to be plenty of  for everyone this week though.

Nice and hot are mutually exclusive terms.

Kinda like hot and dry heat don't truely hot together to describe LAS weather!

Morning BOX!! Up and headed to the airport to drop bags and decide if I want to try lounge hopping or heading back into the city, decisions, decisions!! Left the Puck to dream of bumps in the room!
