SYD miles all posted, including this one: United 892Y. Yeah, it is only 1300 extra EQMs but every little bit helps.

If that worked it means you did one of two things to make the text small in the first place. One is to hit Ctrl-Minus. The other is to "drag" to the left on the touch pad. I used to accidentally do the latter all the time.

all I was doing was scrolling up and down the page when it suddenly went *poof* to small font. I don't have a touch pad on this desktop.

:confused::confused:

mind you, firefox has been crashing a lot recently, so I wonder if that is something to do with it?

Anyone want to be a Reward Manager for a loyalty scheme company in NYC? Wife's company is hiring.

Is this the same job we previously discussed?

And I cannot check how many points a redemption requires without setting up an account and logging in?? That's pretty .

Do you get any points for signing up for the card? Partner earnings?

I doubt it as she just sent it to me yesterday. I can forward it to you if you want.

Can haz. Be warned... it is more festering here than I can recall in quite a long time. The dial on my :rolleyes:meter has gone from "Pit" to "Southeast Asia"

So, let's plan on it.

It felt quite festering yesterday when I walked off the plane at IAH. I'm not looking forward to spending my entire summer working in East Texas.

This weekend, it will heat up to the high 80s again, just in time for you to get back into town.

Tell me about it. And we were planning on a weekend full of outdoor activities this weekend too.

Yep, I'll look forward to it.

I bet ssullivan will still take DC's heat/humidity vs. Houston. I'm going to bet the humidity isn't as bad as Houston's, and it doesn't get and stay as hot. But, I'll let him be the judge of that after the summer is over.;)

I'll issue an official statement on the matter around October 31. I am reminded of July 4, 2002, which I spent in DC, and it was quite possibly the most miserable weather day I've ever experienced. The temperature was in the very high 90s, the humidity was equally bad, and I must have consumed 10 gallons of water, and sweated out 15. Once we got back to the hotel after the fireworks, my friends I was traveling with and I fought over who got to shower first because we were all so nasty after a day spent mostly outside in that mess. I remember throwing away my shirt and underwear because they were so gross after that day that I didn't want to pack them back in my bag for the rest of the trip.

On the other hand, I'm really loving being in DC so far. I'm willing to put up with a certain amount of festervus if the city is worthwhile and the quality of life, aside from the climate, is excellent.

If you can make use of it (as I do), PitRail is quite nice. How are you enjoying your new corner of our festering beacon of ?

I still make use of PitRal and PitBus on occasion when in town. My Q card resides in my computer bag, along with transit cards from about 10 other cities, in case I find myself in a situation where I need to make use of it. The Atlanta Breeze card has thankfully moved to that location as well, replaced in my wallet by a shiny new DC SmarTrip card.
