ditto in seattle. I was trying to ride for free one day when I ran into the Transit Police on the platform checking tickets. I talked my out of that, but I quit riding free after that. I guess too many people were riding for free because I have been seeing more and more cops at the stations and on the trains.
The worst, though, was taking currency in the turnstiles. PATH used to have a "Bad Bill" ad campaign to try to keep people from using trashed out $1's in their readers and slow or stop the pax flow thru a 'stile. |
