Can points be transferred? if so there might be some help available from down here

I presume that if you find a 5,000 point PointBreak room you could get the points from it with a cash+points redemption (i.e. the cash would give you the 5k points and the points required should be 0).

And I cannot check how many points a redemption requires without setting up an account and logging in?? That's pretty :rolleyes:.

How smooth was the process? I'm considering doing this at a later date, but might need to buy 90,000 points for what I am thinking, which is 10 buy/cancels. I'm not sure if that would flag anything on their end. :-:

Yeah....I don't think that Priority Club is on my list for useful anytime soon. There are a few properties in GLA and we just need one night between coming in from EDI and heading out to GLA to fly home. There are rates for under $100 at the HIX and it is 25K points or $60+10K points. Ummmm, no.

Even more strange is that the Crowne Plaza in town is the exact same for points or cash+points redemptions even though the cash-only rate is 3-4x. Certainly a much better value if you're going to spend points anyways, at least from a CPM perspective, but I'm not completely convinced that makes it a good deal.

something very strange just happened with my FT screen. It has gone from normal font size to a teeny size, and I did nothing to make it happen. the rest of the screen (i.e. the firefox menu bar, etc.) is still at the regular sizing.

Finding a good point value deal with PC seems to take some digging. I think last year I used them for rewards in Paris and then used the cash+points in Rome. It worked out well for me since the EUR was high then, but now, not so much.

I believe this is correct. This has been around for about a year now so I wouldnt worry about it going away soon.
