Arriving at EWR-B is heavenly compared to JFK. My one experience of arriving on a TATL flight into Philly was better than the last time I did so at JFK.

JFK was great yesterday morning. Fastest's immigration and customs experience ever. Helps I was the first of the plane and there were no other planes there. Ok it was 2:30 AM

BNA-HOU is usually just as expensive as BNA-(insert any other U.S. city in the lower 48). By using Choice points for the hotels I could have the state cover transportation (including airfare) and meals. I'm serving as a convener at the SJC Conference to cover my registration - a good steward of taxpayer money.

Perhaps you can pay with some dollar coins. ;) :p

If I'm offered anything like that on our flight, I'll give up the hotel for that.

I would put up with IAH-ANC in Y for that form of compensation.

I have not yet slept in an airport but would also consider doing so for a $1,000 cert :D

Although the coins are technically legal tender, a merchant can place reasonable limitations upon the acceptance of such. They may not allow you to pay in coins at the airport.

If one has already "purchased" a ticket pending the receipt of payment at an authorized location, a debt has been created. But I would never do such, as I like the miles on the credit card - I use coins as tips and at locations that don't accept credit cards (or the gas station that has a minimum credit card order).

The agent hardly put the mic down and I was sold.
