BNA-HOU is usually just as expensive as BNA-(insert any other U.S. city in the lower 48). By using Choice points for the hotels I could have the state cover transportation (including airfare) and meals. I'm serving as a convener at the SJC Conference to cover my registration - a good steward of taxpayer money.
