I fail to understand the concept of class reunions, but this is from a guy whose high school has no alumni relations whatsoever. My 10-year, which I thankfully missed, was organized on MySpace and held in a bar. About 40 of 300 people showed up. I can also say without hesitation that I hated almost every minute of high school, so I have no desire to revisit the people and scenarios that made me miserable.

And yes, I've gone to JFK for more of my international flights than EWR. :o

I'm still friends w/ a lot of people from HS. They are making it into a 3 day event. Friday night at a bar (open bar - expensive, yes - so worth it, though) in the Hard Rock Hotel (bar is closed to the public for 3 hours), Saturday at the beach, and Sunday at a park and a private pavilion w/ a catered lunch. 2 of the 3 days are geared towards families/children. For me, it's worth it. I will be forced to fly if I have to take my daughter. I doubt she can survive 1170 miles in a rear facing car seat.
I have a few high school people on my :rolleyes:book, but I actively talk to only two people. They graduated a year behind me and are now married. |
Huh, I just checked out the whole ANA site. They're ditching PE on their new configuration for the 773ER. Someone tell TWA Fan, and by someone I mean sbm12. :o:D
I know folks here (except me and rkkwan) don't do TPAC in Y, but the ANA new Y looks pretty good. Fixed back seat, 34" pitch, a 2x for the wife and I. Playing with dates it's a 50% premium over CO that if I was going I just might consider it.

Arriving at EWR-B is heavenly compared to JFK. My one experience of arriving on a TATL flight into Philly was better than the last time I did so at JFK.

Sure, JFK is a lot further for you, I doubt I would do that too. Wth my JFK trips I more or less cheated in that I would go to Mom's since they're closer to JFK and we turned that into a visit, a stopover of sorts. The one time we didn't go to my Moms was for our honeymoon when we had a car service.
And I've got your thread title written: NH drops PE on 77W; implication for combined UA/CO TATL/TPAC fleet? |

Might be overkill if going solo, but some of the West Maui resorts can be seriously expensive. Edit: Here's the unit we rented: http://www.vrbo.com/150732 - despite the price quoted on the website, I was able to get it for <$200/nt. Other units in the same building are even less. |

I've only done JFK for international when there has been a limo involved, and secondly - it's not the distance I was referring to. JFK is just a pain.
