Interesting.
I'm convinced NJ is like it is to keep new people out. Could you imagine someone from the midwest attempting to understand the two different speed limits? Honestly, I never noticed that, i just go as fast as I can on the bridge. ;) NJ to PA is 35, PA to NJ is 45. Copa's speed limit on either side is 70. The only thing I slow down for other than cops is if I see that the Boeing plant in Philadelphia is having a flying day. I've been buzzed by fresh off the production line CH-47's quite a few times already, and I'll always slow down to watch as much flying as I can. |

I'm all for NJ being exclusionary. Too many people live here anyway, and I really hope the Census shows a nice fat drop.

This morning however, rain was coming in buckets and was doing 15, and still not able to see. clearly others werent either and several wrecks. And then there are the idiots that drive without headlights on in this, RAIN GHOST. |

FL 826/874 has been 45mph for months, I was doing well over that last night with no traffic.

Good morning Everyone.
Last night was a tad interesting. World Tracer (the whoops we lost your bag program) was down for a few hours. Had to take paper claims and input those into the system later. Tons of non-rev bags arriving without their owners. I dealt with a nice girl that had been re-routed from AA out of SAT. She was booked to SFO on CO and then on UA (next morning) to KOA. AA re-tagged her bag to SFO except that it wasn't on the same flight with her. A bag arrived with her new tag attached but the bag belonged to someone else with the identical routings. |

What if your wipers aren't on? |

I thought the law was if your wipers are on they have to be on.
What if your wipers aren't on? It's the law in New Jersey to turn your headlights on whenever you use windshield wipers. Headlights must also be used between one-half hour before sunset and one-half hour after sunrise, in bad weather (during rain, smoke, fog, snow and ice storms) and whenever visibility is 500 feet or less. Being able to see clearly while driving is very important. Always make sure your lights are in good working order and clean. Headlights help other drivers see you. Proper use of headlights is vital to safe driving. Parking lights cannot legally be used when headlights are required. |
