It is a stupid direct flight, I think that is the problem, one part is C one Y.

That is what happens when you hang out with belynch.ca
You pay for C and sit in Y

 I am starting to notice a trend, belynch is bad luck for flying! or maybe it is ALCO. combine them together and wow, end up in PAIN.

now I just need to figure out how to get to the elite desk without leaving the confines of lockup here in the datacenter, and a wireless signal like a YOYO! I wish I could do click to chat on demand.

EZPass was surprisingly EZ to deal with. Now I just have to remember to start leaving teh house five minutes earlier to allow for the slightly longer distance that using a different bridge results in. The toll savings are eaten into slightly by the fuel burn, but it's still meaningful enough to go out of my way.

You don't have a soft phone on your laptop?

I think it's $2.95 a month for US and Canada landline calls. Not too bad, really.

Got another conference proposal (and proceedings paper) accepted this morning.

Winner. ^ Anyplace that is actually fun to go to?

Keep in mind that the definition of fun always includes new lines and/or dots. :-:

Heh, good luck with that. I hate those things, personally. I've never dealt with CO's chat service but most of the other chats I've been subjected to are staffed by the people who are too dumb to talk on the phone.
