man Japan needs a better immanent domain law. There are potato farms in the middle of the T-1 ramp.
I am not saying that the government should be allowed to take land to build a walmart. (which has happened in the US). But something better can be done. |

There was a major stink about taking land for Narita. Back in the 80's the farmers would stage major protests about the land that had been stolen, often times shooting off things at planes. Before you could enter the roadway to the airport you had to be security checked by the National Army, complete with mirrors to check underneath the bus or car you were in.

Which bridge are you relegated to using now? I didn't realize there was a diff in price depending on the bridge you use. Not only can there be pricing differences, but in my continuing quest to prove that New Jersey is led by morons no matter their political affiliation, get this: the Commodore Barry bridge has two different speed limits depending on direction of travel. |

I've been drunker here than anyplace else I've ever been in my life. And remember this: You are NOT, you are not alcoholics. You, and, my hat is off to you....are professionals. |

I was in MSN two weekends ago. The airport bar closed at 19:00. And I challenge the fact that NYC is more expensive than MSN. On a semi-related note, our pre-PTY shananigii was a marked Papaya Dog #FAIL 1. No Papaya Perro 2. No Le Palace 3. No Airport transfer from JFK for our Quaker friend and her entourage :D |

Good morning Everyone.
Last night was a tad interesting. World Tracer (the whoops we lost your bag program) was down for a few hours. Had to take paper claims and input those into the system later. Tons of non-rev bags arriving without their owners. I dealt with a nice girl that had been re-routed from AA out of SAT. She was booked to SFO on CO and then on UA (next morning) to KOA. AA re-tagged her bag to SFO except that it wasn't on the same flight with her. A bag arrived with her new tag attached but the bag belonged to someone else with the identical routings. |

I'm going to become a five-day user of the Delaware Memorial, effective today. Comm. Barry is more convenient, but I can get my bridge crossings at the Memorial for $1 per as opposed to $4 at the Barry.

I'm convinced NJ is like it is to keep new people out. Could you imagine someone from the midwest attempting to understand the two different speed limits? Honestly, I never noticed that, i just go as fast as I can on the bridge. ;) |

Yeah the farmers were pretty militant. I wonder if they have mellowed with age.
Last time I took a bus in, we had to stop and they boarded, checked folks and then used the mirrors underneath and all. |
