Yes. *S has nothing to do with it; being on a Biz ticket does.

Yeah, $100 gift card for every two stays, up to 3 gift cards for 6 stays. I'm maxing that one out. Already have about $200 in my Amazon account right now, so this will just add to that balance.

No Westin in BNA, no Westin in middle-of-nowhere, LA (next week), a Westin in MSY but I'm only there two days (two weeks hence), no Westin in OMA (three weeks hence), and so forth ...

Yes it is. It's been 3 days of the stuff for me. They also have Gerlandas Deli and Cafe besides the pizza.

I miss the days when the Ben and Jerrys was there.

Yep. I'm very lucky I can do this promo. Normally it wouldn't work but right now I've got 6 Thursday night stays in major cities where I can get the six stays needed for the promotion.

They had a Ben and Jerry's? (half my building would live in there) I'm going to guess they were in the place that Moes now resides in. But then again I know something was where BK is now.

And you registered for the extra 1,000 points per stay announced today?

Random question for teh Box. When you use a PDA boarding pass, what do you do when you have to show the boarding pass at the WTMD?

After the  at the Sheraton this morning, this evening I'm at the Westin Canal Place in New Orleans. Usually stay at the W here, but doing the Westin since it's a little cheaper and because of the Westin Amazon gift card promo that's currently running. Anyway, at check-in was told about the free Internet for Platinums, was asked about my preference for the amenity (always do the points here), and that I was upgraded to a suite on the 28th floor (already saw the upgrade online). Suite is pretty nice. Not the best I've ever had with SPG, but recently renovated, and easily 900 square feet or so in size. And, I've got an amazing view from up here. Totally different experience from the Sheraton in Baton Rouge.

Enjoy your last night in the Pelican State (at least for a while)! Congrats on the upgrade - 28th floor - wow. I can just picture the view. Are you having a couple of good final meals, at least? It IS crawfish season... :D

I haven't flown through an airport that required the boarding pass at the WTMD in over a year. And I haven't ever flown through an airport that required it that was allowing the electronic boarding passes. Most airports you can just put the boarding pass away after the ID check these days.

had to keep my BP in hand as I walked thru at LGA yesterday. First time in over a year that I had to do that.

You knew there had to be another hook for me to speak about SPG over Hyatt. Of course, there are no Hyatts in middle-of-nowhere, LA, none in MSY, none in OMA ...

When I was there, circa 93-97, there was the inconvenience store at the end, then szechuan gourmet, then the copy center, then wendys, then gerlandas pizza and then gerlandas deli at the end.

the ben and jerrys was where the cafe is i believe, by the ramp.

Although I'm not the biggest fan of government regulation, I'm happy the commercials for freecreditreport.com are theoretically dead as of today.
