I am not going to be around much the next 4 days or so, it seems.

Really? No Hyatt in New Orleans. That shocks me.
Thanks again for pointing out that promo. I'm registered now. I'm looking at earning about 20,000 SPG points this month now.

I stayed at the Hyatt in MSY (Superdome attached) the January (early Mardi Gras) before Katrina. Hotel was hit hard -- it was an OK hotel. Hyatt doesn't seem to be rushing back into that market.

Greetings and good night, Box. Went to Teh Mom's for dinner. Up early tomorrow for completely irrelevant industrial safety training. Hotel, not chemical company. No one there is willing to read that memo.

Went ahead and upgraded my SFO-ORD 747 segment. I figured with a 6:00 AM departure, at the end of my biggest annual event at work, which always leaves me exhausted, and an almost completely full E- and E+ seat map, it was worth guaranteeing an upper deck lie-flat C seat on that flight two weeks from now. I was going to wait out the UDU, but with only a couple of E+ middle seats open, and pretty much nothing left in E- but a few exit row seats, that plane is looking very full. I'd rather not chance it.
Really looking forward to that flight, even though I'll be cursing it the night before and morning of, given the buttcrack-of-dawn departure time. Any chance that flight is on the 16th? If so, what time do you get in to ORD? I'll be there between 10am and noon. |

Sounds like a good decision - enjoy your in-flight nap!

Alright - back to this manuscript I'm working on.

Good , box.
Just booked MAF-MEM-SAN-MAF and MAF-OMA-MAF. That'll get me a new FM point/line between IAH and SAN. Waiting a few days to book LAX and COS, they could still change. Good night, box. |
