Ukraine International likes to hot-rod its 737s on taxi. One just went flying by Teh LH lounge at a decent clip (I'd estimate 30mph+).

That rendition of Hallelujah sucked compared to the version on the Shrek soundtrack.

I love the Shrek version of Hellulujah. Aaaargh! Now I have it in my head and it won't stop - but at least it's a great version! :D

For a completely different take on Hallulujah, my favorite singer-songwriter Sherry Austin:

The aged gouda cheeses are harder, but still that buttery flavor. They have a little bit of a crystallized texture sometimes on the air exposed parts, but this is not a problem, it is very tasty.(I actually find this also happens with the locally made very aged cheddars, air exposure makes a crystalline substance when hardening)...

Another virtue is that the hardness allows them to last a very long time in your refrigerator. Those of us who travel and maintain two places frequently come back to spoiled cheeses but the aged gouda will last for months in good shape.

mighty early to be heading back to not be on a confirmed basis. US still dragging their feet on telling you when you will be flying out?

Good morning. Last night was my first night "off" (done at 6 instead of 11) in a few days. I barely got any work done, and I think I got to N in the parade of Olympic nations (i.e. 10 PM, maybe) before I crashed, hard.

Today: 3 hours of class, 6 hours of tech rehearsal. Oh wait, this is the weekend for some people? Could have fooled me. And yes, I'm still tired.

Second, I posted on Twitter earlier tonight that I got dinged from my efforts to become a jetBlue in-flight crewmember (ie Flight Attendant). I had a brief exchange with someone there in which I included the word "resume" describing my failure. No more than 15 minutes later some jerk is following me and all his tweets are commercial links about fixing resumes. G:rolleyes: figure. :td:

a) ugh, sorry to hear that :(
b) I commented on a news article a couple weeks ago that included the word "DUI". You can imagine the auto-followers I picked up in short order...

See you all later. I am off to our job in Fairfax County to finish assessing the damage. I knew that the snowfall was bad but when I arrived yesterday I was not prepared for what I saw. There were two to three feet of already packed down snow everywhere on the property and the walkways, which had been the subject of monumental effort by our staff, were like passageways that had been carved out.

The icicles hanging off the roof would be sure to loosen up all the gutters, but they can be nailed back. The thing that really upset me was the destruction of a fifty foot high pine tree that had been a wonderful symmetrical decoration for one of our open spaces. It had branches with heavy layers of pine needles which held the snow as it built up and then broke off when the load became too heavy. This cannot be replaced. :(

I'd like to publicly apologize for my snark when checking-in at the US club in CLT. When the agent asked if everything was okay with our tickets I shouldn't have rolled my eyes and said "I'm flying US, of course everything is screwed up" and I should have simply smiled and walked away. Its not their fault their IT system is horrific or that the agent last night destroyed our PNRs and we just spent 30 min trying to get the reconstructed.
