You know better than to look for decent airfares on the weekends. Wait for Tuesday afternoon.

I just found EWR-HKG B fare for $1,371. Before today the cheapest I found was close to $1600.

There are similar fares out there for many more miles. IIRC carsonheim found a CLL-IAH-EWR-HKG in B in July for around 1400. Between a cheap positioning run and the B fare, Is Possible can haz Silver in one trip.

I thought about somthing like that, but it's ALOT of flying after a 16 hour flight.

I have a 10% off coupon with CO and I will most likely buy the B fare and redeposit my business class award. I am just not in a position to drop $1,400 at this moment.

NY Alps is one of the two nick names for the Catskills for people in NYC. The other name is Jewish Alps.

Ah. I've heard it called the Jewish Alps before but never the other. And now I have Dirty Dancing in my head.

That speed skating pass and ownage by Ohno was classic. He was intentionally last for all but the last 1.5 laps and lapped them :D

Me too - less than 2 weeks. Oh, and I got a KeyMiles debit card early in 2009 (for the Key account I've had for most of my life, but don't use much anymore). Unfortunate.

Hmmm....

Glad I decided to call the restaurant and reconfirm tomorrow night's reservation that I submitted online a week ago.

So much for my 6:30p reservation. Now at least we're in at 8:30p.

Soooo, even though there's not a Morton's in Little Rock, it seems to me that I should probably take advantage of that PPlus offer, just in case I find myself in a different city and need to avail myself of their services. Could someone be so kind as to PM the link?

It's a fun display case to point to and say, "Can I have that one, please?"

And that one.

And that one.

And one of those.

:D

GF and I don't really like to go out for dinner on Valentine's Day. Seems like the service is rushed ('get out, we gots more peoples to get monies from'). I like to pick a random day and make it our own Valentine's Day - treat her a bit more special, surprise gift/flowers, do the day at our pace and time.

Wish we lived closer together so that was easier for us...
