Wrong flight time hours on itinerary
I booked yesterday a MNL-PDX-MNL flight and the GUM-HNL segment i saw is around 7hrs only. I didn't get to print the itinerary until this morning and didn't bother to check it either. When i checked it just now this is what i saw!
Depart:11:10 p.m. Sun., Feb. 21, 2010 Manila, Philippines (MNL)
Arrive: 4:40 a.m. +1 Day Mon., Feb. 22, 2010 Guam (GUM)
Flight Time:3 hr 30 mn
Depart: 6:40 a.m. Mon., Feb. 22, 2010 Guam (GUM)
Arrive: 5:50 p.m. Sun., Feb. 21, 2010 Honolulu, HI (HNL)
Flight Time: 31 hr 10 mn
Travel Time:
36 hr 40 mn
Depart:9:20 p.m. Sun., Feb. 21, 2010 Honolulu, HI (HNL)
Arrive:4:30 a.m. +1 Day Mon., Feb. 22, 2010 San Francisco, CA (SFO)
Flight Time:5 hr 10 mn
Depart:8:05 a.m. Mon., Feb. 22, 2010 San Francisco, CA (SFO)
Arrive:9:52 a.m. Mon., Feb. 22, 2010 Portland, OR (PDX)
Flight Time:1 hr 47 mn
Travel Time:
10 hr 32 mn
I called Continental and the flight time showing on their screen is only 7hrs and she told me that Total travel time is 32hrs and there's no need to panic. I told her that it's different on my screen and that what i have for travel time is 31hrs 10min, she insisted that i need not panic since the 31hrs is just the total travel time. 'told her that i have the right to panic since what i saw is 31hrs flight time and not the one i booked that is only 7hrs.
Anybody got this error before?

This may sound like a stupid question, sorry.
What's the difference between Continental's 757-200 (752) and 757-300 (753), do they do different routes, and most importantly, the new seats that CO is installing in BF, are both planes getting the new design?

BF reward tkt problem
Sorry if this has already been discussed -- did a search & didn't see anything! Also, I spoke to CO reservations once -- & the rep seems to believe this is a system glitch as she was not seeing the same thing as I was!
I booked a 'SB6/SC6' reward ticket for a 77,500 mile redemption (saverpass) for a friend (SEA-GIG). While I was able to select the BF saverpass option (50K miles) -- when I went to 'confirm' the tkt -- it said there were no F/BF seats available for both flight segments of the outbound! It let me book the SB6 -- but assigns 'economy' seats in 'X' (as opposed to 'XN').
So, does this mean this is treated as a 'Plan B' & is my friend actually 'waitlisted' for the B/BF seats?! It appears that there are seats available on those flights, but I assume that they are not yet released for reward travel! Also, if the BF seat does not come through -- will the 'refund' of the extra 22,500 miles (back to my OP account) automatically occur? Do I need to do anything in the interim (the trip is at the end of March)?
Any help in clarifying this situation would be greatly appreciated!:-:
ETA: I called the elite desk & got a great agent -- apparently the domestic F leg did not have availability, but the BF seat was available, so I was able to get it booked! The lesson I came away with is -- when booking reward tkts on-line -- nothing is exactly automatic - ie. 'courtesy' waitlisting needs to be done manually by an agent!

Went to change an existing reservation on a nonstop RSW - CLE next week, selected the new flight, pulled up seat selector, viewed the coach cabin, then clicked the link to view first class cabin, got this:
RSW - CLE
Flight 1 of 2
Flight CO1465
Thu., Apr. 6, 2006 at 9:35 a.m.
Equipment - Boeing 737-300
Houston, TX (IAH - Intercontinental) to Austin, TX (AUS)
Class: Economy (I)
View Cabin:
First/BusinessFirst | Economy First/BusinessFirst | Economy
... and at this point you're stuck, the back buttons, next flight links etc. put you in a loop or error out. This is what I like to call "the phantom flight to Austin error", which I have seen before.
Edit: here's a link to another report of the same bug:

Don't think this is the correct thread for this. That said, they're completely different aircraft. the 752's are getting the new seats, 753 not. There are many threads talking about the differences between the two aircraft. You can also look up the specifications - 753 doesn't have the range for international (not sure if it is even etops).

Got an error earlier that my account couldn't be accessed and now it would appear, for me at least, that the entire CO.com site is down.
Anyone else getting the following error:

Received EUA email at T-96 for one of my flights on 17 January. Both the message body and co.com list original seat in Y as assigned.

When offered a buy-up for miles or cash...
It says you will receive an elite qualification bonus (below). We know that's not true for mileage deduct upgrades.
I also got a chuckle at the picture of the meal used for the 'gourmet dining' amenity of International Business Class (not BusinessFirst). Was showing a full BusinessFirst setup. I wouldn't normally comment, but since they downgraded the Intl Business Class meals to be the little dish rather than full plate from a year or so ago...it is a bit deceptive. In other words, it used to be an accurate depiction.
Upgrade to International Business Class from 15,000 miles or $391 per person
Wider seats with extra legroom
Complimentary beer, wine and spirits
Upgraded meals and snacks, when offered
Access to Presidents Club lounges
Check two bags up to 50 lbs. at no charge.
OnePass Elite qualification bonus
EliteAccess travel services, including priority check-in, security checkpoint lanes (where available), boarding and baggage handling
